One2one Roaming

Roaming is the ability to use your mobile phone on a different network to the one you normally subscribe to. The most common use is to be able to use your phone in a foreign country. One2one now have roaming agreements in place in over 70 countries. (updated 20th August 1999)

There are three main criteria to allow roaming:

• the country you wish to visit must have a compatible mobile phone network
• your normal service provider must have an agreement in place with that country
• you, the user, must have a sufficient credit rating to enable roaming to be activated.

Now:

All One 2 one handsets, from the earliest Motorola to the latest Nokia 6150, can currently make and receive calls in the following countries on an 1800 MHz network:
