Orange Coverage

The Orange Network now covers over 98% of the UK population and this will increase even further by the end of 1999. Orange currently covers some 56.2 million people in the UK and coverage is still improving.

By the end of last year, Orange covered the same proportion of the population as both Vodafone and Cellnet. Also remember that Orange's figures are based on using "proper" mobile phones, figures claimed by the other big two networks are in actual fact for power-boosted car phones - something they seem to forget to mention when rubbishing Orange's coverage.
