What is free or half-price line rental?
Free or half-price line rental acts as a free gift with your phone and effectively reduces what you pay on your mobile phone contract. We operate a cashback by redemption policy whereby we refund you the amount stated in the relevant deal in equal instalments at set periods throughout your contract.
How do I claim my line rental cashback?
We don't need you to fill in any claims forms to get your cash. Simply send us a copy of your monthly network bill at specific points in your contract as proof of payment, and we will do the rest! For further details on which bills to send us for each cashback deal please read our comprehensive How to Claim page.
You can email us a copy of your bill using our cashback webform. This may be preferable as we are unable to return the original document. To access a copy of your bill you will need to visit the website of your network provider, log in to your online account, click 'view my bill' then print the page or download it as a PDF. You can then upload the screenshot or PDF of your bill t to our webform.
What do you require my bill to show?
In order for us to process your claim your bill needs to show your name, address, phone number, bill date and tariff.
Please note: O2 do not have bills in a PDF format so a screenshot of your bill is required
We will send an email confirming receipt of your bill then another once your claim has been successfully approved. At this point your cheque will be processed and we will send a final email once payment has been issued. Please note that if you send your bill by post, you must use recorded/special delivery and retain proof of postage.
When will I receive my cashback?
1. Your cashback claim will be processed within 10 days of receipt.
2. At this point you will receive either an SMS and email if your cash back is approved or an email of rejection if your claim is not approved.
3. Once your claim is approved, your cheque will be dispatched within 28 days.
However, please allow 38 days from the receipt of this last email before contacting us to query payment.
Why is my cheque issued by The Carphone Warehouse?
All our cheques are securely printed and despatched by The Carphone Warehouse, our parent company, giving you the peace of mind that our cashback deals are legitimate.
Are there any conditions I should be aware of?
At Mobiles.co.uk we do not have access to network bills and must therefore offer a refund policy. In order to do this we require copies of certain bills to show you are still paying your contract and that your account is in good order. Bills must be paid in full and on time then submitted to us within 60 days of the date stated on the relevant bill. For more information on cashback terms and conditions please click here.
Automatic cashback is a promotion from Mobiles.co.uk whereby after delivery of your phone you will be sent a cheque for the full amount of the cashback. It's done automatically so there is no need to make a claim or send in your bills.
When will I receive my automatic cashback?
14 days after receiving your handset, and once the returns period is over, we will issue you a cheque for the full amount stated in the deal. Receipt of the cheque will normally take up to 8 days to allow for printing and postage time. However, after your cheque has been issued, please allow 28 days for delivery before contacting us.
