Android 2.0
The Motorola Milestone is the first phone to feature Android 2.0 (known as Eclair), the latest version of Google's smartphone operating system. Downloadable applications, full customisation and support for Google services such as Google Maps, G-Mail and Google Search are all Possible with Android. The Milestone also features a slide out full QWERTY keyboard making emails, messaging and web browsing effortless.
Touchscreen

GPS
With built in GPS you can use the Milestone to locate your position, plan your journey, and as a general SatNav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software. The Milestone (also known as the Droid) is also the first phone to come with the new voice guided Google maps pre-installed. Google Maps Navigation combines services including a search engine to find addresses, Google Street View for photos of locations, and live traffic data.
3G
The Milestone features 3G which stands for third generation, and the system is the third generation in the evolution of mobile networks, after analogue and GSM. 3G offers high speed data transfers and the ability to make video calls between compatible mobile phones.
HSDPA
HSDPA offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is often referred to as Mobile Broadband.
Wi-Fi
With Wi-Fi you can use your Motorola phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.
Web Browser
With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your handset. Check the latest scores, look up train times, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are.
5.0 Megapixel Camera
Thanks to a built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus, the Motorola Milestone phone takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog or favourite photo sharing site such as Flickr.
Bluetooth v2.0
Thanks to Bluetooth wireless technology, data transmission is quick and easy. And what's more, with Bluetooth wireless printing, sending images or documents to a compatible printer is child's play wherever you are, allowing you to produce quality printouts effortlessly.
