Bluetooth allows the 3G Nokia N71 on O2 to communicate with other Bluetooth devices such as headsets, digital cameras and laptops without any wires and up to 10m away.

 

Bluetooth v1.2 helps support "fast connection", so that two devices can establish a Bluetooth connection in less than a second. This makes Bluetooth much more responsive and useful from the user's point of view without the delays found in v1.1. Version 1.2 also has an enhanced voice processing system and is also backward compatible with previous Bluetooth releases.

MIDP 2.0 is a revised version of the MIDP 1.0 specification, and includes new features such as an enhanced user interface, multimedia and game functionality, greater connectivity, over-the-air (OTA) provisioning, and end-to-end security. MIDP 2.0 is backward compatible with MIDP 1.0.

 

Triple band

The O2 N71 is triple band handset. This feature allows you to use the N71 all around the world, including Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
