GPS

With built in GPS you can use the Nokia 6700 Classic to locate your position in the world, plan your entire journey, and as a general Sat Nav device using compatible mapping software such as Nokia Maps.

A-GPS

A-GPS is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them. When combined with a GPS enabled mobile phone, the addition of A-GPS enables a faster GPS satellite lock.

Web Browser

With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your Nokia 6700. Check the latest scores, look up train times, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are.

5.0 Megapixel Camera

Thanks to a built in 5.0 megapixel camera with auto focus and flash, the 6700 Classic takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog.

HSDPA

HSDPA offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. On the Nokia 6700 on it offers a much higher speed data transfer. HSDPA is generally known as Mobile Broadband.

Bluetooth 2.0

Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
