Pop-Port^TM Interface..

The O2 Nokia 9500 Communicator has a Nokia Pop-Port interface connector. This new feature will be a primary interface connector in future Nokia phones.

Wi-Fi high speed connectivity

The O2 Nokia 9500 Communicator supports the global standard for Wireless LAN connectivity known as 802.11b. Using this you can then access the internet at the same speed of your wired broadband internet connection in your home or business. There are also thousands of public access points which for a small fee provide you with this high speed internet access in places such as bars, coffee shops, railway stations, airports and even in some aeroplanes. Bluetooth

The O2 Nokia 9500 Communicator supports Bluetooth wireless connectivity which allows the phone to communicate with other Bluetooth devices such as headsets, digital cameras and laptops without any wires and up to 10m away.

Triple band

The O2 Nokia 9500 Communicator is designed around an internal triple band antenna which allows it to be used all around the world, including Europe, the USA and Canada on 900, 1800 and 1900MHz frequencies.

Mobile Internet

Incorporating the latest technology for browsing of real HTML websites, even those using flash, the Nokia 9500 has one of the best mobile browsers available. It is also one of the first phones available with EDGE support, which as an upgrade to GPRS networks allows significantly faster data transfer. (As yet no UK's networks support EDGE).

MMS...

The O2 Nokia 9500 Communicator supports MMS (Multimedia Message Service) for Multimedia text messaging. This new technology allows you to send sounds, pictures, animations and formatted text in your message. These messages can then be exchanged between friends and family with MMS enabled mobile phones.
