I was a bit apprehensive before receiving this phone as the reviews have not been universally good. Some have raved about it but CNET were not so sure. Having received the phone I think CNET must have had a pre-release version as my phone has none of the speed issues they talked of (otherwise they liked the phone). I am going from a Tytn 2 which is a well reviewed phone. The Diamond is in a different league. Internet browsing is fantastic with the facility to zoom in and out as well as to navigate round the screen iphone style. It is the first phone I have had where it really does feel like 'the internet'. The favourite people screen is great for quick access and I find input easy to the degree that I am not missing the full qwerty keyboard I used to have. I am not missing the size either. The old phone is a brick compared to the diamond. Camera is a bit average but that is not really the reason you will be considering this phone. My advice? Buy one - they are shiny!WH - Staffordshire

I was pleasantly surprised - being touchscreen I did have my worries about its responsiveness, but its just perfect, an easy match for the iPhone. TouchFlo3D (the phone's interface) looks stunning but its highly functional too. I'd highly recommend this phone, I can't see myself going back to my old N95!LC - Hertfordshire

Brilliant piece of kit now that it's all set up correctly and I don't keep thinking it should work like an iPhone! GPS works a treat with the installed TomTom, camera good if you don't move about too much, user interface takes a bit of getting used to but worth the pain of getting to grips with it! All in all I'm really pleased with the phone. Only drawback is that you can't upgrade the firmware to the latest 1.93 version yet, if you've gone with the Orange network.LK - Lancashire

The Touch Diamond was well worth waiting for – I was hesitant about using the TouchFlo interface, but it is very simple to use and a nice change from the (somewhat dated) Windows Mobile interface. The killer feature of this phone is the accelerometer. Not only do you get all the fun of the "Teeter" game, but thanks to a relatively cheap app, I now have a very accurate spirit level built in to the phone!RG - Buckinghamshire

Looks great, good solid build, nice slim design - comes with screen protector leather case, spare stylus and headphones, well mine did anyway. Excellent connectivity: Wi-fi, 3G, HSDPA, Bluetooth and GPS. Screen is amazingly clear and although the touch Flo response is slow at times I still found it works well, it's not slow enough to cause any frustration. The Opera web browser is great for surfing with its zoom function. Could have done with a memory card slot as it's limited to 4GB, and maybe a 3.5mm jack for headphones (although you can get a mini USB to 3.5mm adaptor for this). Camera is not as good as say the N95, no flash or light, but works well in good light conditions.RP - Essex

The Touch Diamond is a fantastic phone - great connectivity, easy to use interface, good looks, Windows programs ....overall can't really fault it. A thin and light hand set and the camera's not bad either. I'm still learning what this little gadget can do - for the cost is as good as and a lot cheaper than the iPhone. Battery life a little on the short side.RN - Middlesex

Fantastic design and looks. Very easy to navigate through the screens using the touch screen or stylus. Excellent screen and image quality for viewing and taking photographs and video. Wi-Fi drains the battery quite quickly but I am 'over the moon' with the whole package.CB - North Yorkshire

The HTC Diamond is a great phone. I have changed from a smartphone and miss the keypad but I think I will get used to the touch screen keyboard. The touch interface is alot better than I thought it was going to be, it is very intuitive and easy to use. Overall I am very pleased with the Diamond, it is a good replacement to my old smartphone.PH - West Yorkshire

This is my first Windows Mobile device and so far im very impressed. The interface takes a bit of getting used to, but thanks to TouchFlo 3D you can perform most tasks without needing to use the stylus. The size is amazing too, only a few mm bigger than my old Motorola SLVR, which used to be thinnest phone on the market. Phone was out of stock when I ordered, but Mobiles.co.uk still managed to get it to my door within 48 hrs!AB - Devon

I've used MS Windows phones since they first came out with the original SPV so I've been through quite a few handsets over the years. The HTC Diamond however stands out as being an entirely different beast to earlier handsets. The first thing you notice about the Diamond is the size. It's amazing that they've managed to pack Windows Mobile Professional into such a petite handset. In the past I have had to compromise on portability because I needed the power and functionality only available in the larger bulkier handsets, but this no longer needs to be the case as the Diamond will do the same work but comfortably sit in my shirt pocket. Fantastic! The VGA screen is lovely as is the new TouchFLO 3D interface developed by HTC for this handset. The new, improved interface alone sets it apart from other Windows handsets and indicates that HTC have really given some thought to the overall package. Build quality is excellent - all panels fit properly and there's no 'creaking' of the battery cover during calls. The magnetic stylus is another nice touch as it snaps itself back into place. Overall impressions are excellent and I'm pleased that I placed the order with mobiles.co.uk.SB - Sheffield

The HTC Diamond truly deserves its reputation as an IPhone killer. Blistering download speeds, seamless web browsing and really intuitive user interface. Couple that with GPS and built in rotation/acceleration sensor, full VGA graphics capable of high quality widescreen movies, its nothing short of a revolution. The phone itself is small and very stylish in a sophisticated understated way. The Diamond is awesome.NC - Manchester

HTC Diamond is a joy to use. It is fully customizable, touch screen works really well, I was worried about the keypad interface for texting but I shouldn't off been, texting is as good as a normal keypad. I have only had it 3 days so I have only touched the surface of what this phone can do. Looking forward to playing round with it in the weeks months to come. Well Recommended.BH - West Sussex

Excellent phone. Very impressed by the feature set. TouchFLO 3D is great, although it does take a little while to get used to. GPS is fast and works perfectly in car. Would have liked to have seen HSUPA, camera flash and external memory card but still well worth it! Service from mobiles.co.uk was fantastic.AH - Tyne and Wear

The HTC Touch Diamond is a very good looking phone with some very great features. The phones interface takes some getting used to and is very slow, but after some minor tweaks which are readily available on the net this can all be changed and now the phone is running great. The camera on the phone is not all that compared to my N95s but I didn't expect it to be any better.MB - London

As promised my new Touch diamond arrived on Saturday from Mobiles.co.uk and from the word go I was VERY impressed, even the packaging was impressive! If you're an experienced Windows Mobile Professional user like me you won't be disappointed by the amazing developments that HTC have integrated within the HTC Touch Diamond. From the TouchFlo 3D with its clear WOW factor and the overall enhanced usability of the whole operating system without removing the Stylus, to its very impressive G-Sensor, demonstrated best within the new 'Teeter' Game! Overall a VERY impressive device!JL - Devon
