TK - Newark-13/10/2009  The Touch HD is an exciting new phone from HTC which takes Windows Mobile to the next level. An attractive phone that features a massive VGA screen. Not too heavy and not too light, the HTC Touch HD houses a large VGA touchscreen that we found more responsive than any HTC device to date. HTC has added a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top so you can plug standard headphones in without an adapter, cutting out all the cable mess. Very good phone. Enjoy.One totally fantastic phone.

AC - Devon-08/09/2009  Having looked at several Windows based phones I chose the Touch HD mainly because of the screen. Having now bought it from mobiles.co.uk, which was painless, I have been using it for a few weeks. When making calls the phone automatically locks when connection is made thus preventing accidental hang up. The TouchFLO software works well, this is a pocket PC, GPS and media device all in one. I have loaded Tomtom Navigator 6, you need to reduce the display resolution; although downscaling the resolution I found the picture quality still better than my old Pocket PC/GPS device. I can watch TV and catchup when in a broadband zone thanks to the built in Iplayer. So would I swap it for an iPhone or Blackberry? - no. This phone does all that I ask of it and it does it well.

R.F - Cumbria-07/04/2009  The HTC Touch HD really it the limit of technology right now, it has nearly everything you would ever need on a PDA. The size of the screen is not too big and the resolution makes everything crystal clear, it is also crazily slim too (close the the Motorola RAZR) and it fits perfectly in my jean's pockets. The software out there is virtually limitless, from stopwatches to GPS software. I also found the camera to be great as it has auto focus, when you take the shot it will carefully sharpen/focus what you are targeting. The only downside to this great phone is the lack of a keyboard which I was so used to, that being said, it would nearly double the thickness so I think it's a good trade-off.

R.A - Edinburgh-07/04/2009  I think the HTC Touch HD is one of the best touch screen phones presently available in the market. Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system is very easy to use if you have any basic windows knowledge. Just connect your phone to pc and drag and drop. Unplug your phone and install the software you want to use. I would strongly recommend buying this phone! Also make sure you get the unlimited internet package to get the most out of it. The Teeter game already installed on mobile is just too good as it comes with motion detection.

LX - Dorset-30/01/2009  I do love the new HD Touch. It has a nice intuitive interface for the Windows Mobile platform, unlike some I have used. I use it a lot to check emails on the go and you can even use Twitter on it. A very nice handset from HTC.

SM - Cumbria-29/01/2009  Basically very happy with the phone. I find Windows mobile quite glitchy and this is where the main improvements are needed. Unlike the Iphone, you can load any program you like on it. Its a mini computer. I have TomTom and Memory Map and love having internet. You need to be comfortable with computers to get the best out of it.

V - Kent-29/01/2009  I'm very happy with my new phone! The functionality is brilliant, the looks are very attractive, and the screen is awesome. GPS navigation work very well, as well as the whole Microsoft Office package and other software. The phone would benefit even further from a slide-out keyboard but the large screen makes up for it. The phone is light and doesn't look like a brick. And the best thing is that it is so stylish! Thank you!

PC - Berkshire-29/01/2009  I'd read that the HTC Touch HD was better than the iPhone and in many ways it is. It looks cool and has great features. Being Windows Mobile 6.1 is great as you can get lots of great stuff for it. Not having any physical keys means that some applications don't work and having such a large screen also makes some applications look a little funny. But it's email, rss, wifi, and TouchFlow 3D interface make up for it no problem. I would recommend this phone even though I think the interface is a little slicker on the iPhone.

DG - Rutland-29/01/2009  I've been very pleased with my Touch HD. It is very user friendly and the TouchFlo 3D interface is a great addition to Windows Mobile. The phone comes with a good range of applications including Google Maps, which works nicely with the integrated GPS, and YouTube software. The only criticism I have is that there is no flash for the camera (which is otherwise excellent). A great phone and great value and service from Mobiles.co.uk

CJ - Lancashire-29/01/2009  The HTC Touch HD is a truly great device. I've owned Windows Mobiles previously but nothing compares to this new release from HTC. The large display and TouchFlo 3D interface make the Touch HD a real pleasure to use. The large screen also comes in very handy when using the device as Sat Nav with the help of the integrated GPS receiver. This phone really does have everything you could ask for and more. The free gift of a Jabra Bluetooth headset from Mobiles.co.uk was just the icing on the cake.

TG - GB-28/11/2008  The phone feels well built to hold and its applications easily rival that of phones of similar specifications. Particularly impressive is how the designers have thought about how the interface can "work" as opposed to just looking nice which a lot of phones seem to do these days. Despite the amount of features the phone boasts its size is not massive, it is certainly no thicker than an average phone but boasts an impressive 3.8inch screen. Having bought the HTC Touch HD I am very pleased with my purchase

I really like the stock features so I can track my shares and also the 5 day weather forecast is a great feature aswell. AR - GB-27/11/2008  Bought the HTC Touch HD as a replacement for my HTC Tytn II and am very pleased with my first touch screen mobile. The large screen and Touch interface easily out-perform the over-hyped iPhone. Browsing the internet and mapping your routes via the in-built GPS is superb and (in my area) manages to lock onto GPS satellites every time with ease. I would highly recommend this phone.

DS - GB-26/11/2008  The Screen is big and has very good resolution. Better display than Touch diamond. Touch Flo 3D is good, takes a while to get used to. 5 MP camera is useful. It hasa memory expansion slot which is an added advantage. Has got a few extra functions like facility to forward SMS, direct push e-mail, stocks tab etc. 3.5 mm jack for head phone is helpful. Headphones supplied with the handset are very ordinary. Overall a very compact and elegant handset. Scores 9/10 for me.

NC - London-20/11/2008  The HTC Touch HD is a breeze to use with the touchflow navigation. It is easy to set up and customise and the screen is large, clear and a pleasure to use. Also the inclusion of an 8 GB memory card makes it as good as an iPhone for music and video, while being alot more flexible. A phone i can honestly recommend.

DW - GB-17/11/2008  The Touch HD is the windows mobile phone I would have designed for myself its large screen has great clarity and colours and the touchflo interface makes navigating using the screen a delight. If you want a great looking phone that's versatile too then I can't think of a better choice.

VE - GB-14/11/2008  My new HTC Touch HD is great! I love the quality of the phone itself and the features are great too. I'm especially satisfied by the awesome screen of the HD! It makes everything look crisp and beautiful. Windows Mobile 6.1 takes a little getting used to and is not the most comfortable environment to work in. But the Touch FLO3D makes it so easy! Fantastic phone all in all! Best PDA/Smartphone on the market now! Highly recommended!

DP - GB-12/11/2008  With regards to its Touch screen, HTC have upped their game and made a system that is fast and responsive but if, like me, you are a newbie at using touch screen phones it may take a bit of getting used to. I found search for the Touch HD on Youtube and watching how more experienced people used theirs very helpful. All in all a superb high quality phone that looks as good as it works.
