The Blackberry Pearl 8120 is a slim, lightweight handset. Weighing in at jus 91g and measuring 14mm in thickness. The screen on the handset is a very bright 240 x 260 pixel offering, supporting up to 65,000 colours.
Of course, being a Blackberry, the focus of the handset is mobile email access. The Pearl 8120 handles this very well. The QWERTY keypad is comfortable enough to use, and email setup is simple and straight forward.
The 8120 has a built in 2.0 megapixel camera, with flash. There is also a video option. Extras include a media player, for watching movies, java support, and a document viewer which allows viewing of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and .pdf files.
The 8120 Pearl can connect for data transfer by EDGE, GPRS and WiFi. It is a GSM quad band phone and has support for Bluetooth 2.0
The red Blackberry Pearl 8120 is slim, pocketable and crammed with features; the Pearl brings Blackberry to the masses with a handset that will appeal equally to the man in the street as well as the man in the boardroom.
