JB - GB-17/09/2008 Great phone, have had none of the problems that I had with the Nokia n95. Love the free games that came with it. The camera is immense! definitely the best camera phone i have come across, the 8gb internal memory means that i can literally store thousands of photos and with the GPS tagging it helps to remember where they were all took.
SP - GB-17/09/2008 Fantastic phone, battery life is a bit pants but it might get better with time. Cracking camera, superb watching films, sound on music files is good. All in all I like this phone and most people that I have shown it to are impressed, even the die-hard N95 users
AP - GB-16/09/2008 Great phone. Has worked like a dream from the moment I turned it on. Set up email and can send and receive home emails without fuss - great for sending pictures wirelessly. Browsing the web is easy and downloading files is so quick. The calendar is great allowing multiple entries - helps me keep track of where I am. The camera is fantastic - took some great photos - the clarity of the pictures is great. All in all - very happy.
ME - GB-16/09/2008 The Samsung i8510 is a brilliant phone. It's a bit more bulky than I thought but the camera is impressive as is the user interface. There's still alot about the phone I haven't got my head round yet.
NB - GB-16/09/2008 Had the phone for about a week now and think it's fantastic. Need a good shooter as I use it in association with my work. My old phone was a Nokia 93, 3.2 MP with optical zoom and I was slightly concerned that the cropped images of the Samsung may not match the optically zoomed images of the Nokia but they do. In fact even with major cropping they are still outstanding. Well chuffed! Both phones also use the same base operating system so finding my way around is fairly simple. The phone looks cool too. Seems less bulky than the new Nokias. Go on, treat yourself!
AB - GB-16/09/2008 It is the best camera phone I've used so far, absolutely brilliant. Bit bulky though but you won't mind when you see the quality of the camera. Features are very simple.
SD - GB-16/09/2008 My Samsung i8510 arrived almost two weeks ago now and I am still finding new things on it that I hadn't previously found.
DR - GB-16/09/2008 I have had this phone for almost a week, and I can almost say that this phone is really amazing. I had the Nokia N95 8 GB and I will say that the i8510 wins hands down, the camera is much better, and accessing the web is faster too. The only draw back I have with the i8510 is that the display doesn’t work that well in direct sun light. As Mick from Scotland has mentioned the menu and the look of the i8510 is very identical as the Nokia N95 8 GB. Also, the build quality is far much better on the i8510, and it’s a really nice phone to text with too. This is the first Samsung phone I have ever had, and I am so happy with it. I would recommend that anyone looking to up-grade or buy a phone on contract, consider the i8510 it’s a must have phone. The music player is really cool too, also, you can record from the built in radio on this phone, and the recording quality is just like recording from a CD.. Well done Samsung !!!!!
LG - GB-16/09/2008 I'm really pleased with my new phone, the contract is great value for money and the service has been spot on. I received a free Nintendo wii and an additional pay as you go phone with my purchase. It all arrived within days of ordering so I’d recommend mobiles.co.uk to everyone!
TD - GB-16/09/2008 Well I have to say that my Samsung i8510 camera phone is absolutely superb. The new menu screens take a little getting used to as they are a different format than most other phones, but after that it's all plain sailing. The best feature for me is undoubtedly the 8 million megapixel camera. It's really all you need. It's so simple to use and I find it a match for my Sony Cyber shot 7.2 digital camera. In future trips away I will only be taking my Samsung to provide all of my holiday snaps!! I'd recommend this phone to anyone.
GL - GB-16/09/2008 This is the first mobile phone that I have purchased from Samsung, however most of the controls seem to be generic across phone platforms these days and it took me little time out of the box to be using the basic features.
PJ - GB-16/09/2008 I brought a Samsung i8510 innov8 and its without doubt the best phone I’ve ever owned, its packed full of wonderful apps and the 8 megapixel camera is the chery on the cake!
SC - GB-16/09/2008 The new Samsung i8510 is an amazing phone! The camera quality surpasses even the greatest of expectations. choc-a-bloc full of little extras and applications to keep you amused for example the gaming quality, sat nav capabilities, dictionary, and speed of web browsing. It is so modern but easy to use, simply my favorite phone ever!!! The only negative which OTHER people may find is the bulkiness, but this is no issue for me
AH - GB-16/09/2008 I am happy with my new phone, especially the 8 mega-pixel camera takes great pictures, liking the smile detection, easy menu to navigate and also very quick connecting to the internet with the Wi-FI connectivity
IH - GB-16/09/2008 Bought this as I wanted to continue using Microsoft office, links nicely with active sync. The widgets are like the Tocco and are a nice feature. Good camera and really like the business card reader - really neat idea. Plenty of memory capacity and though not as sexy as the iphone, is the same size, does everything that does but also has better connectivity. Good phone and I am happy.
AD - GB-16/09/2008 Love the new phone! A few surprises where the built in dictionary which works well, GPS and the FIFA game with great sound track! The memory is massive i love it! The camera is brilliant! When taking a portrait picture i cant get the right colours but i think it is due to me not knowing all the settings yet. I have had it for a while now and i still only know a fraction of its capability daily finding out cool new stuff it can do.
CS - GB-16/09/2008 Had my new Samsung for a week now. Really, really impressed. The build quality is super, camera is a dream to use and the web browser is fantastic. GPS works well. Definitely recommend this phone to anyone.
SS - GB-16/09/2008 The Samsung i8510 is an amazing handset, the quality of the camera is very good, and the quality of the video play back is DVD quality, the PC connection that comes with the phone is very easy to use, there is so many features on this phone that I haven't got round to trying them all, it really is like a mini PC it is capable of displaying excel files and adobe files. 4.5 out of 5
OW - GB-16/09/2008 I love my new phone. The camera is great, picture is brilliant. The videos are awesome, DVD quality picture. Also loads of applications to play with. It’s also great to connect to my wireless box for the internet which saves money.
Michelle Treleaven - GB-16/09/2008 The Samsung i8510 is a great all rounder, excellent camera, great sounds, large screen and easy to use. The magic touch button became a normal mouse while on line - a great touch. I Am really pleased so far.
ZA - GB-16/09/2008 The Samsung i8510 is a brilliant phone in every way. I was thinking about getting the Nokia N96 and was worried about the Samsung interface, but it is very much like a Nokia, only better. The build quality seems better than of an N95, say, and the features and way more than an N95 could even dream of.. The GPS works brilliantly, the camera is amazing. And texting is a doddle. If you want a top-notch phone then trust me... This is the phone to have!
JH - GB-16/09/2008 A great phone with lots of features – looking forward to watching movies on it while on tedious train journeys to London! Like the smart card feature – automatically adding my business cards to my contacts!
DM - Watford-22/08/2008 At Mobiles.co.uk we have had the privilege of a hands-on play test with the Samsung i8510 and can say without hesitation that Samsung have set a new benchmark for mobile phones. The 8.0 Megapixel camera is the standout feature and is without question the best camera phone I have ever seen or used, producing some stunning images with great detail and clarity. But the i8510 does not disappoint in other areas. Great connectivity options with HSDPA mobile internet, an excellent web browser to accompany this, Wi-Fi and the Symbian operating platform make the i8510 a perfect internet tool. And for those interested in multimedia, 8 GB of memory expandable with a memory card, MP3/MPEG4 and DivX support plus GPS with support for Geotagging make the i8510 a truly versatile device and one which future phones will be judged against.
