5.0 Megapixel Camera

A built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus and flash, the Samsung Soul U900 on Orange takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your mobile phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog.

HSDPA

HSDPA on the Samsung Soul offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband.

Bluetooth 2.0

Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.

Java

Java is often a forgotten feature on many phones, and is probably used in many ways without you even realising. If you play games on your phone, it is likely they are java apps. But java is so much more than games. It allows you to add extra functionality to your u900 by installing third party apps to the phone. Add email functionality with Gmail, add a web browser from Opera Mini, add a business directory with Yell.com or keep an eye on a new purchase on Ebay.

Music Player

With a built in music player in the Orange U900 Soul, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC.

Stereo FM Radio

With a Stereo FM Radio built in, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone.

Email Client

The Orange Samsung soul has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.

SW - Buckinghamshire-16/07/2008 Very pretty, a good size and the weight adds to its quality feel. Love the 'create own theme' feature, as it means you can change the phone's look frequently. There is a lack of games, as the only ones available on the handset are trials. The ringing volume is fine, contrary to other reviews - but the volume of the person talking to you over the phone is terrible, as you can barely hear them. Other than that, a very good phone!

SD - London- Very classy looking phone, features seem pretty good. I always felt that Samsung was more about looks rather then product quality and although the quality of this phone is better then previous ones it still has poor volume. The memory seems very poor but I guess this can be rectified with a memory card. Still, it looks fab!!

TC - Kent- Only just got the phone yesterday, nice looker and easy to use. The back cover is a little hard to get off, but so far so good no complaints.

VC - Liverpool- I received my Samsung Soul at the beginning of the week. I have to say it has to be the best mobile that I have ever got. It has a clean, sharp design. Very easy to use. The sound is excellent and so is the imaging. If you are after a modern, fashionable and easy to use phone I recommend the Samsung Soul!!

KB - Winsham- My husband just bought me a limited edition Samsung Soul for my 51st birthday today. I am absolutely delighted. I had a Motorola flip top for 2 years. I have now progressed. There has been lots of advertising on the Samsung soul. I must tell you that it's a fantastic phone. The touch screen is brilliant and once I got used to it, there is no way I would go back to push buttons. My phone not only looks top class but it's so clear and easy to use. Really good 5 megapixel camera as well. Texting is a doddle, very quick. This phone is great and suitable for any age group. Well done Samsung, nothing else on the market to touch this one.
