Orange SPV C500

A step in the right direction

The Orange SPV C500 is the world's smallest Microsoft smartphone and a lot smaller than the three previous SPV models! Despite being much smaller and lighter it does not compromise on functionality as it includes all the features seen on the SPV E200 but in a much smaller package and with a faster processor, improving the speed of operation. Another key enhancement is the much better battery life of the new SPV C500. The operating system is Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 second edition for smartphones and key features include Bluetooth, tri-band and a built in VGA camera.

Multimedia Messaging

Send your pictures over MMS, the Multimedia Messaging Service. It works like text messaging, except that you can send a picture, text and voice all at once.

Snap a picture, write a short note, record a message, "This view is fantastic. Words fail me. Wish you were here." And send it as a multimedia message.

Mobile email

The Orange SPV C500 allows you to send and receive emails from your handset, so you don't have to go to the trouble of finding a pc and landline.You can email while you're on the move, or when you're sitting at home or at work. Mobile email has never been easier.

GPRS

GPRS is an "always on" Mobile Internet service that is typically 2 to 3 times faster than traditional GSM data. Effectively being online continuously, there is no delay due to dialling up to your service provider and GPRS technology means that you are only charged by the amount of data you transfer, not how long you are online for.

A new sound

The Orange SPV C500 is a digital music player supporting MP3, WMA, AMR and AAC recording. These can also be allocated to use as ringtones for real sound samples instead of just polyphonic tones.

You can connect to the Internet for a whole range of information and services. You can surf the web to find out restaurant listings, sports results and news, the latest film reviews. All this and more at your very fingertips.
