5.0 Megapixel Camera
Including a built in 5.0 megapixel camera, with auto focus, image stabiliser and face detection, the Samsung Omnia takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends and family.
3G
The Omnia on Orange features 3G which stands for third generation, and the system is the third generation in the evolution of mobile networks, after analogue and GSM. 3G offers high speed data transfers and the ability to make video calls between compatible mobile phones.
HSDPA
HSDPA offers a similar benefit to a 3G network that GPRS offered to the GSM networks. It offers a higher speed data transfer with a compatible handset. HSDPA is often referred to as Mobile Broadband
Bluetooth 2.0
Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music on the Omnia with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
GPS
With built in GPS you can use the Samsung Omnia to locate your position, plan your journey, and as a general Sat Nav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software.
A-GPS
A-GPS is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them. When combined with a GPS enabled mobile phone such as the Omnia, the addition of A-GPS enables a faster GPS satellite lock.
Java
Java is often a forgotten feature on many mobile phones, and is probably used in many ways without you even realising. If you play games on your phone, it is likely they are java apps. But java is so much more than games. It allows you to add extra functionality to your handset by installing third party apps to the phone. Add email functionality with Gmail, add a web browser from Opera Mini, add a business directory with Yell.com or keep an eye on a new purchase on Ebay.
Music Player
With a built in music player, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the Samsung i900 (the other name for the Omnia), including MP3 and AAC.
Stereo FM Radio
With a Stereo FM Radio built in to the Orange Omnia, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone.
The Samsung Omnia boasts both style and substance. The Omnia runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 with a 3.2 inch touch screen display and has a built in GPS for navigation and 8GB internal memory. The Omnia features an impressive 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, image stabiliser, flash and video recorder. Certified support for the DivX video format (a first for a Windows Mobile phone), Bluetooth v2.0, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and a built in MP3 player are also included.

BR - Glasgow-19/05/2009 Great phone, works as a good business phone as well as having all the gadets you could wish for. I must say that with all the mobile phone companies / web sites out there, i was really impressed with the service from Mobiles.co.uk - The order was placed over the phone at 3pm and the phone arrived as stated on the right contract by 9am the next day.
DJ - GB-18/09/2008 The Omnia is a great phone with great features. It is simple to use and easy to customise, it has very few flaws but those are massively outweighed by the advantages. The camera is a great feature and gives the phone a step up on all other smart phones.
VR - GB-16/09/2008 I have got to say the Samsung Omnia is the best phone ever no matter what you need it for. I was looking for a touch-screen phone with Wi-Fi and the Omnia fitted the spec. The Samsung menu on there is brilliant and the windows mobile feature makes it even more easy to use and sync with a computer.
DK - GB-16/09/2008 Had the Omnia for a couple of weeks now and it is absolutely fantastic. Everything from the sleek design to the intuitive display not to mention the 5mp camera and wireless connectivity oozes class. Does everything you need from a phone, camera and mp3 player.
DB - GB-16/09/2008 The Samsung Omnia is a fantastic piece of kit. It has every possible function you can think of. The 5 megapixel camera is not the best on the market but does the job and the battery life is good.
DA - GB-16/09/2008 I have been impressed with my Samsung Omnia since day one. A Stylish and sleek look gives it the wow factor in the hand. However the Omnia isn't just style over substance, it also is packed with features. The 5mp camera produces quality snaps and with all the different settings you can take the perfect picture. The touch screen is easy to use, and being someone who has always used Nokia it was my only worry, but I have found it no problem. Other features that I use regular are the internet browsing facility, mp3 player with 8gb of internal memory for all my music, plus an easy to use office suite. All in all I am over the moon with my choice of phone and it is by far the best handset I have ever had.
FH - GB-16/09/2008 Absolutely superb, great interface has loads of applications that can be purchased and easily downloaded. Internet access is smooth and easy to use via Opera. Music can be added and arranged as you have it in Media Player on a PC. Could not wish for a more well organized and cool looking phone!
