The sapphire 8800 arte on Orange combines sophisticated and elegant design with uncompromised functionality. The seamless integration of the metal and glass body, covered with an ‘anti-fingerprint’ coating, hides under the surface a host of features and innovation.
Tapping the steel surface below the display twice brings an analogue display on the screen; timekeeping in its most classic form. The handset can be placed into silent mode simply by turning it screen side down. A smooth slide mechanism is incorporated in the handset, using state of the art ball bearings and a unique spring loaded slide design, ensuring each handset is a joy and a pleasure to hold.
The 8800 Arte in Sapphire has a 3.2 megapixel camera, with autofocus. The screen is a quality 16 million colour QVGA offering, and the phone has ‘living wallpapers’. A unified micro USB port allows for data transfer, charging and audio connections. Also included is a motion sensor, which allows for the phone to go into landscape mode simply by turning it on its side.
