Stay Connected
Mobile Connect takes advantage of T-Mobile's 3G HSDPA network, offering connection speeds that are up to seven times faster than a 56k modem dial-up connection. If you find yourself in an area without 3G coverage, it'll keep you connected by switching automatically to the well-established GPRS data service. In both cases, you'll be able to:
- access internet-based email accounts
- browse any web page
- send and receive text messages
- chat using instant messages
- connect to business networks using secure VPN

Triple Band
The T-Mobile 3G USB Modem is a triple band device, which means as well as operating on 3G networks it can roam onto GSM900 and GSM1800 networks in over 150 countries world-wide. (Please check first as 3G and GPRS roaming is not available in all countries). Roaming charges apply. An antenna connector means you can plug in external aerial if you regularly find yourself in fringe coverage.
Coverage
T-Mobile 3G HSDPA is a brand new technology and 3G coverage is available in key towns and cities. Coverage is continually being extended but is currently available to over 60% of the UK population. When outside of a T-Mobile 3G HSDPA area, your data card will automatically switch to GPRS which covers 99% of the UK population.
GPRS
GPRS is an "always on" Mobile Internet service that is typically 2 to 3 times faster than traditional GSM data. Effectively being online continuously, there is no delay due to dialling up to your service provider and GPRS technology means that you are only charged by the amount of data you transfer, not how long you are online for.

3G USB Modem
The T-Mobile Mobile Connect USB Modem is compatible with the new Super 3G mobile broadband network standard, offering download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps. The product connects to a laptop via USB, so is particularly ideal for users of new style laptops that have the smaller PC card slots. Also no software disks are needed as the drivers are installed directly from the modem.

SW - Cambridgeshire- This is great for the un-technical! Just plug it in and watch it install itself on your laptop. You can easily set it to automatically connect whenever you start up your computer. It will automatically find the fastest signal available from where you are - whether 3G or 2G. A real alternative to fixed line broadband.
PB - Hertfordshire- This product is top of the market. Especially the deals on T-Mobile, it works out half as cheap when compared to others! Internet speed reaches to 3.6 Megabits, you should certainly purchase this product if you want to have the Internet anywhere.
RS - Blackburn- Its cheaper then most broadband deals. It’s the easiest thing ever to use – plug it in and it will automatically install itself, then you can surf the web. I'm ditching my home broadband in favour of this! EBay, gaming, emails, RSS feeds nothing is a problem. The best part is that you have Internet where ever there is a computer!
BS - Kent- I'm over the moon with this product. Installation on a Windows XP PC was simplicity itself. At first the system only ran at 53 kilobits, but when I restarted my machine later, I got 3.6 Megabits. Blinding! I'm no longer tied to my desk. Now I can dump that WiFi card.
