Derived from the 6220, the T-Mobile Nokia 6230 includes bluetooth wireless connectivity, MP3 player and a stunning clear TFT display. And for the first time ever on a phone of this size, you can record and send video clips.

Built-in Digital Camcorder

The new T-Mobile Nokia 6230 is not only a phone - it's also an integrated digital imaging device. Point, use the colour display as a viewfinder, snap a picture, and share the moment. An image editor enables you to add text, frames and clip-art images. The handset also offers what Nokia calls "Portrait image caller ID". This means you have the option of seeing a pre-set picture of the person who's calling you. However, the real show stopper is the camcorder facility built in which allows recording of moving pictures and sound using the 3GPP specification. Furthermore you can playback video in this format, or the popular MP4 format.

A Design Classic

The T-Mobile Nokia 6230 is the latest advance of Nokia's business orientated phones, so it has a more subtle and classic design. However, Xpress-On covers are available so you can still personalise how your phone looks by changing the outer casing.

The T-Mobile Nokia 6230 uses the new ring tone technology called "polyphonic". This can produce a high quality ring tone that sounds closer to an original CD, sound or tune than ever before.

Its obvious that a great deal of research has gone into making the most of the amazing sound quality as the phone's speaker also has to be the best ever found on a mobile phone. The clarity and loudness of the sound at full volume simply defies belief.

GPRS & EDGE

As the T-Mobile Nokia 6230 supports GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), you will be able to take advantage of this virtually permanent data connection, and you will only be charged for the amount of data that you transfer, and not the amount of time that you're online. It is also the first phone available with EDGE support, which as an upgrade to GPRS networks allows significantly faster data transfer. (As yet no UK's networks support this).

Mobile Internet

Incorporating the latest WAP 2.0 browser technology for mobile internet, you can use WAP to access a range of information from the Internet, via your mobile, including news, travel and information. The X-HTML browser is capable of displaying richer more interesting content than just a normal WAP browser can.

Colour screen!

The introduction of colour screens has greatly improved mobile phone displays. The T-Mobile Nokia 6230 uses an enormous high-resolution 65k colour display which is certain to catch the attention of a few people!

Pop-Port^TM Interface..
