The Nokia 2310 is a simple, lightweight handset designed for people who donÂ’t need their phone to replace all their other electronic devices. Designed with simplicity in mind, the Nokia 2310 has all the hallmarks of the classic Nokia menu system, with everything laid out logically and with ease of use in mind.
The main focus for the Virgin Pay As You Go Nokia 2310 is on voice and text. The battery standby times quoted are up to an amazing 400 hours (that’s more than 16 days), with talk time up to 6 hours from one charge. For text users the handset supports predictive text and long SMS. The phone can store up to 60 SMS in the memory, with additional memory available on the sim card. The SMS editor has an ‘undo’ feature to avoid accidental deletion of important text messages.
The display on the Nokia 2310 is a colour passive matrix display supporting up to 65,000 colours. There is support for animated screensavers, and you can personalise the display by selecting a wallpaper of your choice.
The Nokia 2310 on Virgin Pay As You Go comes with some games pre-installed, and you can add more downloading from your network operator.
Other features include an FM radio, with sound visualisation support. The radio has its own dedicated key for quick launch access. The 2310 has an alarm option with snooze function. There is also a built in hands free speaker.

The Nokia 2310 is a small phone, weighing in at just 85g. It is a well built handset, and despite the low weight feels solid in the hand. If your mobile usage is all about calls and text the 2310 is the ideal phone for you. The Nokia 2310 supplies a standby time of up to 400 hours and a talk time of up to 6 hours. For messaging the 2310 is enabled with predictive text, supports long SMS and is also MMS enabled.
