The design of the Ted Baker button handset is based around the very popular Samsung G600. The Button is a 3G handset and also supports tri band GSM frequencies, along with support for EDGE, and also Bluetooth 2.0. This allows you to use the handset to listen to music wirelessly, when used with a compatible Bluetooth headset. The music player supports MP3, AAC, eAAC and WMA formats. The Button also incorporates an FM stereo radio.
The Ted Baker Button incorporates a 2.0 megapixel camera with flash, and has a secondary camera on the front of the phone which is used for video calling and can also be used for self portraits. Once your pictures have been captured you can edit them on the phone with the built in picture editing software. You can also record video clips with the button at an acceptable QCIF quality.
The handset has 40MB of onboard memory which is expandable with the addition of a MicroSD memory card, offering plenty of space for pictures, video and music. The screen of the phone, which doubles up as a view finder for the camera, is a bright, 2 inch TFT screen, supporting up to 256,000 colours.
For messaging on the move the Button has all angles covered. There is a built in email client which you can set to read your existing email account, plus support for SMS and MMS. There is also a ‘Post to Blog’ option. This allows you to create content on your phone, be it text, pictures or video clips, and upload it directly to your blog.
