Apple iPhone 4 32GB Black

Android Operating System

The Alcatel OT 980 runs on the Android operating system, developed in part by Google. Downloadable applications from the Android Market, full customisation and support for Google sevices such as Google Maps, G-Mail and Google Search are all Possible with Android.

The OT980 features a 2.8 inch touchscreen display providing sharp images and natural colours. Use your fingers to navigate through menus; once you've used a touchscreen phone you'll never look back! The OT 980 even has a built in accelerometer which automatically rotates the screen to match how the phone is held.

QWERTY Keyboard

The Alcatel Android phone features a slide out QWERTY keyboard that enhances the user experience and aids web browsing and messaging. Firing off emails, texts and instant messaging is fast and effective whilst the keyboard remains tucked away when not in use.

2.0 Megapixel Camera

With a built in 2.0 megapixel camera, the Alcatel OT 980 takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, send them to friends via MMS picture messaging and upload them to your PC or Laptop. The OT-980 even features video capture for those magic movie moments.

A-GPS on the Alcatel OT 980 is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them.

Social Network-savvy

The Alcatel OT 980 features a built in mobile web browser and shortcuts to Facebook and Twitter offering you a complete social networking experience.

Web Browser

With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your handset. Check the latest scores, look up train times, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are

Music Player

With a built in music player in the Alcatel OT 980, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. The OT 980 supports the popular MP3 format and features a memory card slot so you can expand the memory and store tons of tunes..

Bluetooth v2.0

Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise. File transfers are also markedly faster with Bluetooth 2.0

GPRS is a packet data service that allows you to browse the internet and send emails at faster speeds then you will achieve on a standard dial up connection. GPRS is charged by the amount of data sent in a session, rather than the length of time of connection.

With the Alcatel OT 980 you can take a picture of where you are, record or write a greeting and send to any MMS-capable phone or email address. Send pictures, text and sound.

It's a must have item, well designed with some nice new features (flash etc) for those trading up from the 3GS. The screen is incredibly sharp in comparison and speeds are all improved.
The screen is quite small compared to a lot of other phones now (the Desire etc) and the phone being so expensive means insurance is important, although worth checking your house insurance as it often covers it.

I love the iPhone 4. It's the best phone iv owned. I waited for it to come out and I wasn't disappointed
The only thing is the battery. I play games an listen to a lot of music and I think it could be a bit better but it's easy to live with.
