3.0 Megapixel Camera
With a built in 3.0 megapixel camera, the LG GD510 Pop takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog
Full Touch Screen
The LG GD510 features a 3.0 inch touchscreen display, the smallest phone to do so. The wide high resolution (WQVGA) display extends to almost the edge of the phone with just a 4.8 mm border making for an eye catching design that is dominated by the touchscreen.
Web Browser
With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your handset. Check the latest scores, look up train times, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are
Email Client
The Vodafone GD510 Pop has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch
Stereo FM Radio
With a Stereo FM Radio built in, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone
Music Player
With a built in music player in the LG GD510, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC. The GD510 features a memory card slot supporting up to 16GB MicroSD cards providing ample storage for all your favourite tunes, movies and photos.
Bluetooth v2.0
Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible wireless headset in stereo. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
GPRS
GPRS is a packet data service that allows you to browse the internet and send emails at faster speeds then you will achieve on a standard dial up connection. GPRS is charged by the amount of data sent in a session, rather than the length of time of connection.
The LG GD510 Pop offers state of the art features in a touchscreen device. The GD510 Pop features a 3.0 inch touchscreen display which dominates the front of the phone. With a high resolution display, the GD510, successor to the popular LG Cookie, is a joy to look at and just as good to use thanks to the inclusion of interactive widgets that can be added to the home screen to provide quick and easy access to all your favourite content. The LG GD510 also includes a 3.0 Megapixel camera and expandable memory letting you save all your music, movies and photos on the phone.
TJ - Romford-25/03/2010 Looks: LG has proved simplicity is the key with two things that stand out straight away - a button and the screen. The multifunction button has many responsibilities considering it is only one button. Green means go ahead or it takes you straight to your call history which shows your recent calls made or received. Red means go back or hang up. Features:This is the Pop's strong point. On the home screen there is a bar at the bottom with widgets. You can drag these up from below. This is otherwise known as the Widget Page. The second screen is what LG call the Live Square. This is where you keep your favourite contacts. You can call, send messages, edit or delete numbers. On the third and final screen you can add speed dials. Another neat feature is the organiser function. Once you have dragged your widgets, contacts and speed dials to the screen, simply shake the device to organise the page. Also, when you get to the main menu you can view it either landscape or portrait simply by turning the phone around. Around the phone you have multifunction or dual function keys. The button at the top acts as a power button and a standby button. The button on the left side also has two jobs. Hold it down to get the camera on screen. Alternatively, press the button and your personal favourite applications come up. The final feature which I think is amazing is the silenced call. If you want to silence a call just turn the phone on its front and it will silence. You can also set this as a snooze function. Just turn over the phone to silence the alarm.Ease of use: This is where the Pop least impresses me. The camera is less than standard as it has no flash and no auto focus. However, the camera has an impressive 3 mega pixel. I find this amazing for what it is. Where else can you buy a touch screen phone with a 3 mega pixel camera? Therefore, this scores high in Value for Money. The other disappointing thing about the Pop is the sensitivity of the screen. Fortunately you can buy a stylus for it. Overview: You get plenty of features and plenty of fun for the small price tag. THANK YOU LG! I would recommend this phone to new buyers and anyone who wants to enter the new touch screen generation. The only market I do not recommend this phone for are people who are used to phones with a higher price tag.
SS - London-24/11/2009 The LG Pop has some really great features all in one device! It is said to be the successor to the LG Cookie and I can see why- a lot of fun, easy to use features with a very responsive touchscreen. The display is also a good size and it makes is easy to see everything on screen clearly. I don't usually use my mobile phone to take my photos, but I must say that the quality of the photos taken with the built in camera is quite impressive. There isn't a flash but as I said this isn't a big issue for me. One of the most important things for me is that I can listen to all of my music on the phone, which is possible with the music player. Luckily there is enough memory for me to store all of my music too. There are loads of other fun features to play around with on the GD510 Pop. All I can say is get this phone if you are after a compact touchscreen which is easy to navigate!
