Introducing iPhone X
With 2017 marking the iPhone's ten-year anniversary, something huge was always on the cards for Apple's keynote event. Never one to disappoint, Tim Cook announced the arrival of the premium iPhone X - the stunning flagship that was debuted alongside the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
iPhone X is the company's most advanced and premium device to date, marking "the future of the smartphone", due to a range of impressive features...
iPhone X Design
Joining iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, Apple's iPhone X has adopted a stunning, all-over glass design. There's no need to panic about cracks and smashes however, as reinforced glass ensures durability, while the waterproof build protects against sudden splashes and rainy days.
One of the most impressive changes from previous Apple devices is iPhone X's stunning edge-to-edge display. It's a bold move for Apple, as the home button has been completely removed, to be replaced by the 5.8-inch, bezel-free OLED display. With Super Retina HD technology, images will appeal more vibrant and detailed than ever before, while the new True Tone feature ensures images are stunning in any lighting condition.
iPhone X Face ID
Bidding farewell to the home button in favour of that huge screen, Touch ID is nowhere to be found on iPhone X. Instead, security is handled by the cutting-edge Face ID.
With iPhone X you can unlock your device through facial recognition by simply looking at your phone. FaceID uses the X's TrueDepth camera to plot over 30,000 dots across your face - registering even the finest details to create a facial map. A nod to its extremely high level of security, you can use FaceID to make payments through Apple Pay too.
Next-generation A11 Bionic Chip
With the A11 bionic chip on board, iPhone X can handle multiple apps at once with ease. It's also optimised to support Apple's new range of Augmented Reality content, including immersive games and useful apps.

iPhone X Camera and Animojis
iPhone X boasts a telephoto 12MP dual camera to the rear, complete with optical image stabilisation to banish the blur on every shot. This intelligent wide-angles lens also features optical zoom, as well as 10x digital zoom to capture subjects at a distance. Portrait Mode is also on hand to offer a beautiful depth of field for professional-looking results.
That TrueDepth 7MP front-facing camera which makes Face ID work is also ready to deliver truly stunning selfies. Creating sharp detail alongside an artfully blurred background, your self-portraits are about to go next level.
Making the most of the True Depth front-facing camera is Apple's new Animoji feature which brings your favourite characters to life. Choose from 12 emojis including the dog, monkey and the famous poop as iPhone X tracks over 50 of your facial muscles. Animojis mimic your expressions, creating short emoji animations. Share the results, and enjoy a fun new way to interact with your friends and family.
Wireless Charging
Another Apple first, is the Wireless Charging capabilities of iPhone X. Just set the handset down on the new AirPower mat, or any compatible Qi charger, to juice up without getting in a tangle. Enjoy 50% charge in just 30 minutes, and up to two hours more power per charge compared to iPhone 7. Wireless Charging is also available on both iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.
