Introducing the Oppo Reno4 Range
There are three devices available in the Oppo Reno4 range, with every handset in the trio offering 5G connectivity. Whatever your budget, you'll be able to make the most of next-generation network speeds on all three handsets, and enjoy amazing specs like multi-lens rear cameras, long-lasting batteries and much more.
The premium model in the range is the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G, followed by the Oppo Reno4 5G and the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G. Discover the differences below, to find out which Reno4 phone is right for you.
Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G
At a glance: 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, triple-lens 48MP+12MP+13MP rear camera, dual-lens 32MP +2MP front camera,4,000 mAh battery, 160.2 x 73.2 x 7.7 mm, 172g.
With its ultra-slim body and stunning 3D curved glass on both the front and back, there's no denying the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is a stylish smartphone. Weighing just 172g, the device is the lightest and narrowest handset in the trio - despite offering the largest screen (a vibrant 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate) and the most advanced camera system.
There's a fingerprint scanner built directly into the display to add to the already-seamless design, and a 4,000 mAh battery capable of 65W fast charging with a compatible charger. The handset runs Android 10, and has a highly efficient core made up of 12GB RAM, an octa-core CPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. As mentioned, the handset will also connect to 5G whenever you're in a supported area, so you can enjoy ultra-fast downloads and lag-free gameplay, enhancing your everyday experience even further.
The standout feature is the triple-lens rear camera. The 48MP main lens uses a Sony IMX568 sensor and offers advanced optical image stabilisation, while the 12MP wide-angle lens and 13MP telephoto lens with 5x Hybrid Zoom give you the freedom to experiment with your shots. Snap details up close, play with depth and create a blurred background effect with the telephoto lens, or broaden your horizons with the wide-angle lens.
There's both 4K and 1080p video available. Additional features like Ultra Night Wide-angle video, Live HDR and Ultra Steady Video 3.0 help to improve the quality of your recordings, keeping shaky footage stable and well-lit even at night.
Oppo Reno4 5G
At a glance: 6.43-inch AMOLED display, triple-lens 48MP+8MP+2MP rear camera, dual-lens 32MP +2MP front camera,4,020 mAh battery, 159.3 x 74 x 7.8 mm, 183g.
The Oppo Reno4 5G is the midrange option in the trio. This handset has the same look and feel as the Reno4 Pro, with 2.5D curved body and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and back instead of the 3D alternative.
With its smooth aluminium frame and in-display fingerprint scanner, you'll get a truly seamless experience from this phone. On the front, there's a vivid 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with an ultra-fast 90Hz refresh rate that promises lag-free transitions, and more responsive gameplay. Thanks to the 20:9 aspect ratio, you can experience wide-screen gaming and streaming too.
The same dual-lens selfie camera featured on the Reno4 Pro 5G can be found on the Reno 4 5G, with a 32MP main lens and additional 2MP selfie bokeh lens. Oppo's AI Beautification mode even helps to naturally enhance your best features, so you can have Instagram-worthy snaps in seconds.
The rear camera, meanwhile, offers an identical 48MP main lens with the exclusive Sony sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an impressive 119-degree field of view and a final 2MP mono lens. You can record in 4K and 1080p, and video and photography features such as AI Portrait, Night Mode, Live HDR, Ultra Steady Video 3.0 and much more are all available to help you create the best content.
The handset runs on Android 10, 8GB RAM and features the same high-spec CPU and Snapdragon 765G chipset as the Reno4 Pro.
Oppo Reno4 Z 5G
At a glance: 6.57-inch LCD display, quad-lens 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera, dual 16MP+2MP front camera,4,000 mAh battery, 163.8 x 75.5 x 8.1 mm, 184g.
The final handset in the range is the budget friendly Oppo Reno4 Z 5G. On this device, you'll find a crystal-clear 6.57-inch LDC screen, with a Full HD+ resolution like its premium counterparts, and a lightning-fast 120Hz refresh rate. The handset's fingerprint scanner has been placed on the side, rather than integrated directly into the screen.
The design features a sleek 2.5D curved body with glass on the front and back. It's also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, so you can be confident the device can withstand more than its fair share of bumps and scratches. Working away behind the scenes, there's 8GB RAM, a MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset and an octa-core processor, alongside Android 10 and support for 5G connectivity for ideal speed and efficiency.
Oppo has included four camera lenses on the back to create a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP setup. The main 48MP lens doesn't have that extra Sony sensor, but it's fully equipped to capture photos in striking detail. Thanks to its wide dynamic range and Ultra Dark mode, the phone is more than capable of taking professional-looking pictures in darker, unfavourable conditions. The 8MP wide-angle lens is paired with two monochrome lenses: a 2MP vintage portrait monochrome lens and a 2MP black-and-white monochrome lens.
AI Portrait, AI Beautification and specialised video features such as Live HDR, Ultra Night Video and Ultra Steady Video 3.0 are all accessible. The dual 16M+2MP front-facing camera even has its own Front Night Mode to illuminate your features whenever light levels are low.
