Bought this on the recommendation from my son had an iPhone in the past and wasn't keen on them so after some discussions I decided to give iPhone another chance and I am glad that I did. This phone was so easy to set up and has everything that I need in a phone and yes I would recommend it to others.

So far so good. Was using IPhone 7 before so very happy with the 12 as it is bigger, the cámara is a lot better and the Face ID is great!

However iPhones are very expensive for what they are

It is my first iPhone and it took me a long time as the price usually is a turn off and I am an avid Samsung user.
After so many years of using the same middle class Samsung phone, which still was more than enough technology in my hands (I didn't need a new phone actually), I was looking for a newer device which is 5G capable. As all my work is done on a Mac and I have many friends which are combining their iPhones with their Mac, I was doing some research about the iPhone 12 and it seems it was the right (i)phone for my current needs.

Anyways long story short, ordered the phone on a Saturday and it arrived on Sunday morning, so big up to mobiles.co.uk to arrange such a great service.

No about the phone, like with all Apple devices (I am using laptops, desktops for years now), it feels premium and is premium. The interface is easy to understand and if you are familiar with other apple products, even on a actually Mac, you will understand the gui and functions easily as with ios14 everything is the same experience on all devices now. I mean thats what is Steve jobs legacy always heading towards, that Mac is a whole widget itself, especially now with the M1X chips coming out soon. (Oh god, which means I have to satisfy my consumer greed on one of those new upcoming products, damn you apple....XD)

I like the style, the feel, the quality, the speed, to speak with Siri, even though she gets confused by what I am asking her most of the time. The camera is superb and being able to do 4k 60fps videos, which I thought was just possible with the pro version, is a game changer.

Only downside is the battery, even though I am a Mac geek and set everything up in a way that the iPhone saves as much battery as possible, it lasts maybe 70% of the day, compared to my Samsung which lasted 2 days without struggles and I am a heavy user.

I just bought it, as it is a cheap option with the vodafone contract I have found. No matter if I can afford it or not, I wouldn't have bought it for the full price, as I would say the battery is one of the most important factors and the iPhone in general always lacks behind with the quality.

Anyways, like many reviews are saying it as well, whoever wants an iPhone or longterm, especially 5G ready, thats your iPhone of choice. I got it in red as I like the look, plus knowing some money goes towards the fight against COVID, in the end it is a good feeling.

It's an Iphone. I think most people know what one is by now. However this one has no home button, no fingerprint reader, no headphone socket and no provided accessories (other than a USB-c to lightning cable that's most likely incompatible with any charger you own).

The lack of a home button really ruins the usability and the lack of a fingerprint reader is just dam annoying when every other phone has one (face id does not work with masks). The lack of a headphone socked and accessories is inexcusable and the adaptors just don't work properly.

But it's an iphone. You know you're going to get at least 5+ years of software updates and it will at least work and be of decent quality and that's worth the premium until someone makes something better than Android.

DPD have lost the phone and I’m now getting bounced between DPD and mobiles.co.uk so called customer services to get it resolved. No one can tell me when it will be delivered or seems interested in helping. The money has already been taken out of my account for the phone though!

I’m really pleased with my iPhone but it doesn’t come with a wall charger or earphones which means you’re just paying for a phone, cable and stickers.

I understand Apple are trying to be environmentally friendly but I think they should still offer customers the option.

Beyond pleased with this beauty.
Fantastic crystal clear pics and videos, stunning sound ,still finding my way around some of the differences from my previous iPhone 7 but it’s an enjoyable learning curve thanks to its intuitive nature ❤️

A great phone with an incredible camera. Overall that’s a fair statement, I have been away from apple for several years but headed back, the Usability of the phone is as good as ever but nothing has changed significantly since my iPhone 6.
