Delivery is important
As a web store, we understand that how our customers receive their products is very important – it’s a key part of the buying experience. That is why at Mobiles.co.uk we have now expanded our delivery options, offering the choice between Royal Mail and City Link! We understand that you will have some preference when it comes to who you want to deliver your new phone so now you can choose, free of charge.
Free next day delivery
Once you have placed your order online, we know you want it delivered fast. That’s why we will despatch orders placed up to 5pm for next day delivery. Combined with our online network decisions, we get mobile phones out faster. Please note the below applies only to Pay Monthly customers. Pay As You Go customers, please see the section below.

Royal Mail
- Monday to Friday - orders placed prior to 5pm delivered next day before 1pm
- Saturday - orders placed after 5pm on Friday and before midday on Saturday are guaranteed by Royal Mail to be delivered by 1pm Tuesday, but in our experience are generally delivered by 1pm Monday

City Link
- Monday to Thursday - orders placed prior to 5pm delivered next day between 7.30am and 5.30pm
- Friday - orders placed prior to 5pm on Friday delivered on Monday, again between 7.30am and 5.30pm
- Saturday - orders placed on Saturday delivered on Tuesday between 7.30am and 5.30pm
What to do if you miss the delivery
Due to the value of the goods being sent, a signature will be required to accept delivery. In the event that you are out when the delivery driver calls, don't worry, you can simply re-arrange delivery or collect your new phone from your local depot:

Royal Mail - If you miss delivery Royal Mail will leave a 'sorry, you were out' card which you can use to re-arrange delivery or visit your local sorting office and collect yourself.

City Link - If you miss delivery, a card will be left whereby you can re-arrange delivery. A second delivery attempt will be made the following day and then your phone will be held at your local City Link depot where you can collect in person.
Pay As You Go Phone Delivery
Due to wanting to keep the handset cost as low as possible we have decided to charge £3.99 for delivery of certain Pay As You Go mobile phones. This allows us to use Citylink, who collect from our depot up to 8pm. It's still a Next Day service and we're not charging any more than what Postage and Packaging costs us - we've simply separated the cost of it out of the handset price, so all of our Pay And Go phones are now cheaper!
The small print
- We only deliver to the credit/debit cardholders address as this information provides the necessary identification verification required to process the order
- Orders will be despatched for next day delivery on the basis they pass all necessary network, identification, security checks and that stock is available
- Unfortunately, due to the extra processing requirements from the Networks, business orders normally take an additional 24 hours before being despatched
- Royal Mail next day Special Delivery covers 99% of the UK population – check here to see if you are not covered
- Accessory only orders are despatched using normal Royal Mail postal services
- For collection from a Royal Mail sorting office or City Link depot, a proof of identification such as passport, driving licence, credit/debit card or a recent, paid utility bill is required
