Newly launched in March 2021, the Oppo Find X3 series is comprised of three exciting devices, each of which varies slightly in size, specs and budget. At the affordable end of the spectrum is the Oppo Find X3 Lite, while the X3 Pro is the flagship of the trio, and the X3 Neo is sandwiched somewhere between the two. First up, we have the Oppo Find X3 Lite – the smallest, lightest device in the lineup, with a modest price point to match. That said, this smartphone doesn’t skimp on specifications, with a 6.4-inch FHD+ display, and an option to up the refresh rate from 60Hz to 90Hz, so you can enjoy a seamless, vivid display while you’re gaming, or catching up on your shows.

On the rear of the X3 Lite, you’ll find a high-performance quad-lens camera system, more befitting of a premium device. There’s a 64MP main lens, 8MP ultra wide lens, one 2MP macro lens and one 2MP mono lens – so you’ll be able to capture wide landscape shots, portraits and minutely detailed closeups with ease. For those keen to experiment with smartphone photography, there are plenty of shooting modes on board too, including Panoramic, Portrait, Night, Time-lapse and more.

This handset is 5G-ready, so you’ll reap the benefits of 5G connectivity whenever you’re in a supported area, such as crystal clear video calls, instant downloads and lag-free gaming. Speaking of gaming, there’s also a dedicated Gamer Mode on the X3 Lite, which blocks notifications and calls while you’re in the zone. Plus, with 8GB RAM and a 4,300mAh battery, this device can handle even the most demanding tasks without running out of power, right through from morning till night.

Oppo Find X3 Neo

Next in line is the Oppo Find X3 Neo, which offers many of the same fun features as the X3 Lite, but with some additional capabilities and specs. This model has a slightly larger 6.55-inch FHD+ display, with the same choice to increase the refresh rate to 90Hz for graphics-intensive tasks. The curved screen enhances ergonomic comfort and improves viewing experience, while a 92.1% screen-to-body ratio ensures that bezels don’t interfere with whatever you’re watching, reading or scrolling through.

X3-Neo-charging

Just like its smaller sibling, the X3 Neo will provide a 5G connection when in a supported area. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and equipped with 12GB RAM, this device can do even more, and for longer. This combination of tech ensures a smooth user experience no matter how much you multitask, as well as an extended duration from the 4,500 mAh battery.

Every handset in the series runs on the latest operating system from Oppo, ColorOS 11.1, which is based on Android 11. This interface is cleverly designed to flex to your individual needs, with features like a customisable Always On Display, and a Dark Mode with three different contrast levels to choose from.

Oppo Find X3 Pro

X3-Pro-design

On the rear of the X3 Pro, you’ll find the camera mounted in a stylish square – a design similar to the X3 Lite and X3 Neo – except this system takes camera tech one step further. There’s one 50MP wide lens, one 13MP telephoto lens, a second 50MP ultra wide lens and a final 3MP macro lens. Capable of encompassing a 110-degree field of view, you can really capture the outdoors with this camera, while the 3MP microlens allows for 60x magnification; it’s the best of both worlds.

There’s plenty of exciting software to discover too, including all the usual photography modes, as well as AI Palettes, which can extract the colour scheme from a specific photo and turn it into a filter that you can reuse at any time. Meanwhile, you can take professional-grade film with AI Highlight Video, which enables you to activate FHD resolutions, optical imagine stabilization and Night Mode all at once, for unforgettable footage.

X3-Pro-design2

To keep this premium handset running without a hitch, the X3 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, which can easily handle a 5G connection, graphics-intensive gaming and all the everyday tasks you could possibly need. There’s a sizeable 4,500 mAh battery to match, so you won’t need to worry about being caught short with a dead device, and you can count on your phone to keep going from your morning yoga session till your bedtime audiobook.
