Founded in California in 1976, Apple has since grown into one of the largest and most recognisable brands in the world. Originally specialising in personal computers, Apple made its name with Macintosh computers in the 1980s, which became the company’s primary business during the 90s and 00s.
Everything was to change on 9th January 2007 however, when co-founder Steve Jobs announced a rebranding from Apple Computer Inc to simply Apple Inc, and introduced the world to the first ever iPhone. Over a decade later, the iPhone is still one of the most iconic smartphones on the market.
