What is my IMEI number and how do I find it?

IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity. It's a unique number given to every phone and is used to identify it from other phones - just like a number plate for your device. IMEI numbers are usually 15 to 17 digits long.

You can find your IMEI number by calling #06# from your phone (your phone won't actually make a call and you won't be charged).

Additionally, on most devices, the IMEI number will be printed in small letters on a sticker underneath the battery. For more info about finding your IMEI, check your manufacturer's user manual
