From the 1st of July, new legislation means that switching your mobile network provider will be as simple as sending a text message. Here’s how it works.

Process is the same across all networks
All you need to do is send PAC via a free text message to 65075. You’ll then receive a PAC (Port Authorisation Code) from the network provider you want to leave.
Alternatively, you can request your PAC by calling your current provider.
Once you have your PAC, just follow the steps below, according to which network you’re switching to.
New contracts always come with a new number as standard, so you’ll just need to cancel your old contract and number.
All you need to do is send STAC via a free text message to 75075. You’ll then receive a STAC code from the network provider you want to leave, which is confirmation of cancelation.
